Webinar “Towards zer0 pesticide agriculture: European network for sustainability (T0P-AGRI-Network)”

On 10 Apr 2024, Dr Tijana Milićević, Research Associate Professor, Institute of Physics University of Belgrade, gave a lecture entitled “Bioaccessibility of contaminants and human health risk assessment – imperatives for mitigating the pollution in agricultural areas” within the Webinar of COST Action CA21134 “Towards zer0 pesticide agriculture: European network for sustainability (T0P-AGRI-Network)”. Dr Milićević presented the methodology using in the bioaccessibility assessment of pesticides and toxic metals and human health risk assessment. Dr. Milićević also highlighted her scientific collaboration with the IMI research group under the leadership of Dr. Snježana Herceg Romanić, which has resulted in publications focusing on the assessment of human health risks based on indirect exposure to water and the consumption of fish from the Adriatic Sea. Additionally, the presentation included an introduction to the EnvironPollutHealth project.
