From November 20-22, 2024, the Comfort at the Extremes (CATE) conference was held at the School of Architecture, University of Seville. The goal of the conference was an interdisciplinary discussion motivated by the increasing intensity and frequency of the consequences of climate change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
PhD students Tajana Horvat and Marija Jelena Lovri\u0107 \u0160tefi\u010dek from the Department of Environmental Hygiene participated in the conference with poster presentations describing the preliminary results of indoor air quality research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As part of the conference, several lectures and workshops were held, among which “Workshop: EDIAQI: How can we convert scientific research into effective policies on indoor air quality?” stands out, during which indoor air quality was discussed, and as part of the workshop Vanda Jakir, advisor at the European Commission, held a presentation on the new directive of the European Parliament and Council on air quality and cleaner air for Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
