Croatian Chemical Society and the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb organized the 2nd Symposium on Analytical Atomic Spectrometry (2nd SAAS24), which was held from September 13 to September 14, 2024, in Zagreb. The aim of the Symposium was to gather scientists and experts from Croatia and other countries who are involved in the development and application of atomic spectrometry methods in various fields. The topics of the symposium included methods of sample preparation, applications of analytical absorption spectrometry (ETAAS, FAAS, CS-HR-AAS), applications of analytical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES, ICP-MS, MIP), development and application of novel techniques (LC-ICP-MS, LA-ICP-MS, LIBS, XRF, etc.). Silva Žužul participated in the conference and presented the results of research within the EnvironPollutHealth project through a poster presentation.
