At the Professional Meeting of Biology Teachers, that was organized on March 7, 2024, in the Vocational School for Personal Services in Zagreb, Assoc. Prof. Sanja Stipičević gave a lecture entitled “Better safe than sorry or how to get out safe with pesticides”.
Among other facts, the participants were educated on the most important processes that affect the levels of synthetic pesticides in the environment and the possibilities of reducing human exposure to pesticide residues in water and food items. Other applied research as part of the EnvironPollutHealth project was also presented on that occasion.
