On September 3, 2026, Nika Perčinić, a student at the Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb, successfully defended her master’s thesis focusing on one of the most topical groups of environmental contaminants today per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), also known as “forever chemicals.” The research was conducted as part of the EnvironPollutHealth project at the Division of Environmental Hygiene.
