
From 02.-05.09. the 29th Croatian meeting of chemists and chemical engineers was held in Split, organized by the Croatian Chemical Society and the Croatian Society of Chemical Engineers. It gathered between 400 and 500 participants from Croatia and neighboring countries, including scientists from academia and industry experts. The meeting was divided into several sections: chemistry, chemical and biochemical engineering, materials, environmental protection and education. Numerous oral presentations and poster presentations were held during the meeting. Four collaborators on the project of the Institute for Environmental Hygiene participated in the meeting:
