Organized by the Public Institution “Medvednica Nature Park,” under the auspices of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Green Transition, the Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund, and the Zagreb Tourist Board, the 2nd scientific-expert conference Green Touch of Medvednica with international participation took place on September 4th and 5th, 2024, at the Medvedgrad Visitor Center in Medvednica Nature Park. The Institute for Medical Research and Occupational Health participated as a co-organizer of the conference, along with numerous partners. The aim of the conference was to promote sustainable management of protected areas and tourism in the context of climate change. Iva Smoljo and Zdravka Sever Štrukil participated in the conference, presenting their research results from the EnvironPollutHeath project.
